Week 27 at Journal 52 prompt was about the celebration of a first kiss and the alternate prompt was about fireworks.
Taking on the easier prompt, I made this page.
I was crazy enough to put on my darkest lipstick and put a butterfly kiss onto paper. (Crazily smiling here 😀 😀 :-D) Lol! I bet you’ll all agree that it was one of the easiest way to create a page. Besides you’ve already seen pages with a hand print , a traced left hand and a foot pad print, then a lip print is not so new anymore. To make the page lively, I added color using dylusions ink sprays and a stamped quote from the net.
Have you tried including a body part print in your journal pages? It’s a sure fun thing to do. Happy start of the week dear friends!
Hahaha! I once did a hand. I don’t own a lipstick so lips are out of question but foot… now that’s tempting LOL!
Ha! You should try it! When we were born they took our foot prints, why not do it now that were adults….the activity will surely make you laugh. 🙂
Fireworks would have been hard. I would have had to do something with my border collie hiding in the closet and a public warning about keeping your dogs inside when they are going off!
Anyway, love the lips. It reminded me of this lady, you must check her out!

Thanks for the link Dawn! Natalie is amazing! Her work is definitely so inspiring. 🙂
Crazy!!!!
Crazy stuff!
Ah yes its crazy stuff but it works and beautifully made! Aren’t all the crazy things beautiful? 😉
Yes! And people who do crazy stuff have incredible imagination and I always wonder where they came up with their “vision”.
I wonder too and super curious how they come up with it. Such a beautiful mind to explore!
Yes maam!
I love the lipstick mark! What better way to personalize your art than with the unique “fingerprint” of your own artwork?
Thank you! 🙂
cute 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
I have always, loved splatter!! its just so fun and free 🙂
Totally agree! 🙂
That is so sweet – I have never thought to add something of myself to a journal page – but I may have to consider this thought 🙂
Thank you, Pauline! So sure you will have a lot of fun! 🙂
